Reflection on Resurrection
Today is Easter, a day when church attendance rises dramatically, thanks to cultural Christians, who show up mostly out of habit and a mild sense of guilt. To some, it may seem sadistic to celebrate an innocent man being betrayed, flayed and crucified. But for true-believers, all that barbarity magnifies the sacrifice and glorifies the redemptive denouement of that awful story – resurrection. Continue reading
